RS&F Tax Director Samantha Haines Recognized by Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants Women to Watch Awards

Rosen, Sapperstein and Friedlander, LLC (RS&F) Tax Director Samantha Haines was selected as a recipient of MACPA’s Women to Watch 2023 awards. Women to Watch honors women in two categories, Emerging Leaders and Experienced Leaders. Haines was honored as an Emerging Leader, which recognizes women who are up-and-coming stars in their organizations and communities.

Introduced by the American Institute of CPAs in 2014, the Women to Watch awards highlights the many accomplishments made by women in the CPA profession and demonstrates to upcoming female leaders that there is no such thing as a glass ceiling. Winners are selected by a special MACPA task force of past winners and MACPA’s volunteer leaders.

“The MACPA’s Women to Watch award is a very exclusive and prestigious honor that recognizes top leaders in our field who have made significant contributions to their organizations and take actions that inspire talented women in the accounting profession,” said RS&F Managing Partner Jeff Rosen. “Sam is an incredible leader, and we are so fortunate to have her on our team.”

As Tax Director, Samantha helps businesses grow through tax compliance and business advisory. Using her diverse skill set in industries like real estate, construction, land development, and manufacturing, she leads challenging business transactions and client engagements. Her expertise and guidance have helped numerous businesses and ultra-high net worth families achieve new levels of success.

“I am honored and humbled to accept this award and stand among so many talented and successful women in our industry,” said Haines.
