Rosen, Sapperstein and Friedlander, LLC (RS&F), recognized as the number one fastest growing accounting firms by Accounting Today, participated in their Second Annual Volunteer Day on May 11, 2017. RS&F teamed up with Living Classrooms to participate in activities at three of the Living Classroom locations in greater Baltimore, the East Harbor campus, POWER House and Under Armour House.

Founded in Baltimore in 1985, Living Classrooms Foundation strengthens communities and inspires young people to achieve their potential through hands-on education and job training, using urban, natural, and maritime resources as “living classrooms.”

More than 40 RS&F employees participated in activities including creating educational games for students, preparing camping gear for the Shipboard Education Program, organizing supplies and inventory, and gardening work to clean up the areas around each center.

“Our annual volunteer day gives our team a chance to get out and help a local group that is very important to our region,” says Jeffrey Rosen, Partner at RS&F. “Volunteering at Living Classrooms gives us an opportunity to help the kids that will one day be leaders in our community.”
